DOUBLE BOOKINGS
One hour, promised to one client.
When bookings come in through Instagram DMs, WhatsApp and a paper book at once, two people can end up with the same time. ZMODE books every chat from the same open times. A one on one time slot can only be booked once, a class fills seat by seat until it's full, and you get a note for each booking, so the day you see is the day you have.

Hi! Can I get a brow lamination on Saturday at 11?
Oh no, my friend said 11 was free this morning. 12:30 then.
Great. How long does it take?
Perfect, see you Saturday!

WHY IT HAPPENS
How the same hour gets promised twice
A double booking is rarely carelessness. It's what happens when the list of who's coming lives in more than one place and you're the only one holding it all together.
01
Three places, no single list
A regular books on WhatsApp, a new client asks in your Instagram DMs and someone at the counter gets written into the paper book. Each one looks free where you're looking, and none of them sees the others.
02
Memory fills the gaps
Between clients you answer fast and from memory: "Saturday at 11? Sure." You meant to check, but your hands were busy, and the 11 you gave away was already promised on another app.
03
Fixing it costs a client
When both people show up, one of them waits or leaves. You apologize, maybe give a discount, and often the person who left doesn't book again. The mistake took a second; the cost lasts longer.
HOW ZMODE FIXES IT
How ZMODE keeps one time for one client
The fix is a single list of open times that every conversation books from, and a way for you to see each booking as it happens.
One set of open times
Your booking page holds your open times, and every booking ZMODE makes comes from that same list. A one on one time can only be booked once, so it disappears from the page and from every chat when it's taken. A class fills seat by seat and stays open until the last seat is gone.
Only free times are offered
When a client on WhatsApp or your website chat asks for a time that's gone, ZMODE says so plainly and offers the nearest open times instead, so nobody leaves with a yes that isn't real.
DMs book from the same list
A client who replies to your story asking for Saturday gets the same open times as someone writing on WhatsApp. Your Instagram DMs stop being a separate book that only you can check.
Every booking as a note
Each new booking reaches you as a short WhatsApp note with the name, the service, the time and where it came from. You see the day fill up as it happens, instead of finding out at the door.
Available features depend on your setup, supported channels and location.
WHERE IT SHOWS UP
Where double bookings happen most
It's worst where one person or one team can only be in one place, and clients reach you through several channels at once.
Nail salons
A gel set with art takes an hour and a half at one table. Two clients for the same Saturday 2 PM means one sits waiting through a whole set.
See the pageHair and beauty salons
A balayage blocks about three and a half hours. If a cut is promised in the middle of it, there's no squeezing it in; someone gets moved.
See the pageLearning centers and tutors
Each tutor's hour belongs to one student. Two families told Wednesday at 5:30 means a child with a notebook and nobody free to sit down with them.
See the pageCleaning services
A crew can be in one home per arrival window. Booking two Friday 8 to 10 AM windows for the same team means one client waits at home for nobody.
See the pageReal estate agents
Showings are booked into your open times, one at a time. Two buyers promised 11:30 at different homes means one of them stands on a doorstep waiting.

QUESTIONS
Questions about double bookings
How does ZMODE stop two clients getting the same time?
Every booking ZMODE makes, on Instagram, WhatsApp, your website chat or your booking page, comes from one list of open times. A one on one time slot can only be booked once, so it stops being offered as soon as someone takes it. A class keeps being offered until every seat is filled.
Does ZMODE connect to the calendar app I use now?
No. ZMODE works from its own list of your open times and doesn't connect to other calendar apps or booking tools. That's why it helps to let ZMODE handle all your bookings, so there's only one list.
What about bookings I write in my paper book?
ZMODE can't see a paper book, so a time you write there by hand is still open as far as ZMODE knows. The simplest fix is to send those clients to your booking page too, or to book them through the same chat, so every booking lands in the same place.
What does the client see if their time is taken?
A plain message that the time is no longer open and the nearest open times on that day or the next. They pick one, and it's booked right away.
Can two people book the same time if they write at the same moment?
A one on one time slot can only be booked once. The second person is told it's gone and offered the next open ones, as in the example above. In a class, each of them takes a seat until the class is full.
What about classes with several seats?
A class isn't one slot. Each booking takes one seat, and ZMODE keeps offering the class until the last seat is taken. After that it's no longer offered, and anyone who asks is told it's full and given other open times.
How do I know what's booked?
Every booking comes to you as a WhatsApp note, and your calendar in ZMODE shows the day with each booked and open time. You can check it between clients in a few seconds.

One list of open times. One client for every hour.
Let every chat book from the same open times. ZMODE books a one on one time only once and fills a class seat by seat until it's full, and it tells you about each booking, so nobody arrives to find their hour already promised.
