NO SHOWS
No shows, stopped before the day.
A client who books and never arrives costs you the hour and the money. ZMODE asks for a deposit when people book on Instagram, WhatsApp or your website chat, sends a reminder the day before and gives anyone whose plans changed a new time, so the slot gets filled instead of lost.
14 day trial. No card needed.

WHY IT HAPPENS
Why clients book and then don't come
Most no shows aren't rude. People forget, plans change, or the booking never felt like a promise. Each reason has its own fix, and none of them is chasing people by hand.
01
Nothing is at stake
A booking made with a quick message costs the client nothing to skip. Without a deposit, holding the hour is a favor you do for them, and some will forget they ever asked.
02
The visit slips their mind
Booked on a Sunday night two weeks out, the appointment is easy to lose by the time Thursday comes. Without a nudge the day before, the first time they think of it is after it has passed.
03
Moving it feels like work
When changing a time means calling during business hours or waiting a day for a reply, staying home is easier. You lose the slot, the money and usually the reason why.
HOW ZMODE FIXES IT
Five things that keep the slot full
ZMODE does each one inside the conversation the client already started, with your prices, your policy and your open times.
A deposit at booking
As soon as the client picks a time, ZMODE asks for the deposit you set, paid through Stripe, and explains your cancellation policy before they pay, so nobody is surprised later.
A reminder the day before
The day before, the client gets the service, the time and your address in one message. C confirms it; R brings up the open times, while there's still a day to give the slot to someone else.
An answer when plans change
When someone writes at 7 AM to say they're sick, ZMODE answers right away on Instagram, WhatsApp or your website chat with your policy and the next open times, instead of leaving them to simply not show up.
Freed times go back on sale
Your booking page only shows times that are still free, so an hour someone gave up is there for the next client who asks, the same afternoon.
You know who's coming
Every confirmation, move and new booking reaches you as a short WhatsApp note, so you start the day knowing which chairs are filled and which are open.
Available features depend on your setup, supported channels and location.
THE DAY BEFORE
The day before, one letter confirms it
Dana booked on Monday night. On Wednesday afternoon ZMODE sends her a reminder with the service and the time. She answers with a single letter, and the room shows as confirmed on your calendar before you've finished your last client of the day.
- Goes out the day before every appointment, without you writing it
- C marks the appointment confirmed on your calendar
- R shows the open times, so a slot she gives up can still be filled

WHAT NO SHOWS COST
What empty slots cost you each month
Count the clients in a normal week who didn't come and didn't warn you. Put in your own numbers.
Money lost per month
Money lost per month: $688
No shows per week × average visit × 4.3 weeks in a month, counting only visits nobody else could take.
WHERE IT SHOWS UP
Where no shows hurt the most
Any business that holds time for one person feels it. These are the ones where one missed visit costs the most.
Nail salons
A gel set with art can take an hour and a half. One missed Saturday booking is a chair that sat empty in the busiest hours of the week.
See the pageSpas and wellness studios
The room is prepared, the oils are warm and a therapist is waiting for one person. When a 90 minute ritual goes unused, there's rarely time to fill it.

Color appointments block whole afternoons. Deposits and reminders matter most for the long services that can't be squeezed into a gap.

A seat in a small class is a seat someone else wanted. A deposit turns a sign up into a person who walks in with an apron.

A crew that drives across town to a locked door loses the job and the hour it took to get there. The reminder asks for the entry details the day before.

QUESTIONS
Questions about no shows
How much should a deposit be?
That's your decision, and ZMODE asks for exactly what you set. A common approach is a fixed amount for each service, small enough not to scare off a new client and large enough that skipping costs something. It comes off the total on the day.
What happens to the deposit if a client doesn't come?
Your policy decides. You write your rule once, for example that the deposit is kept without 24 hours notice, and ZMODE explains it to every client before they pay. The money goes to your Stripe account, and what you do with it stays your call.
When does the reminder go out?
The day before each appointment, with the service, the time and your address. The client replies C to confirm or R to see the open times and move it.
What if a client replies R?
ZMODE shows the open times for the days they ask about, books the new one and frees the old slot so another client can take it. You get a WhatsApp note with the change.
Will a deposit put clients off?
It's explained in the same chat where they booked, with the amount and the fact that it comes off their total, so it reads as part of booking rather than a penalty. Clients who weren't sure they'd come tend to say so before paying, which is still better than an empty hour.
Does this work for clients who book on Instagram?
Yes. ZMODE answers Instagram DMs, WhatsApp and your website chat the same way: it offers the open times, asks for the deposit, and the reminder follows the day before.
